Vibrant Red Resin Combines With Recently Rediscovered Thuja Sutchuenensis Wood

In 1899, French botanist Paul Guillaume Farges catraloged a rare evergreen tree known as Sichuan thuja. It was thought to have gone extinct not long after, but after a century of searching, was rediscovered on mountain slopes not far from Farges initial finds.

Native to central China, this decay resistant, sweetly fragrant wood is carefully forested for sustainability. The Crimson Grove set is made up of carefully selected and crafted wood that was once thought lost to the world.
